Usually it's just Reggie Fils-Aime talking about kicking ass and taking names. This week, however, its speaker is Perrin "Don't Make Fun of My Name" Kaplan, who had this to say:

"Nintendo DS is a good indication of how we're looking at things from a different angle. And as far as Revolution, you'll have an even better idea once you learn more at E3. I think you'll be both surprised and excited.

Regarding our competitors, their focus is slightly different than ours. Their priority seems to be making more powerful versions of what's already available."

She KNOWS what the Revolution is. She knows about its "revolutionary" feature(s). WHY CAN'T SHE DROP SOME HINTS!? May is too far away.

This is Nintendo's problem, they rely on pure fan-created hype. They release NO details until a huge show, and it's great, but can you imagine how high the level of anticipation would be if they just dropped a FEW hints?

This can also be said for their games of our current generation. Last year at E3 Nintendo released their trailer of the upcoming Legend of Zelda game. What have we got since then, nearly a year later? NOTHING. We have got one official comment, "It will be very, very beautiful."

A few stylish magazine ads and/or internet trailers go a LONG way. While Zelda is long but forgotten, it could have people peeing their pants with anticipation.

In conclusion, Ms. Perrin: tell us what the fuck is up.

Source

50 Cent To Release Videogame, Ja Rule Pissed

Vivendi "We Only Make Games That Are Either Really Good Or Really Bad" Universal officially announced today that rapper 50 Cent is set to star in his very own video game titled "50 Cent: Bulletproof". I really hope NoA decides to bring it over here. It's overly Japanese, but it gives you a general idea of how awesome this game will be. The girl has white hair for God's sake, what game can fail when the main character has white hair?
